I didn’t start out as a wellness expert. I started out as an exhausted mom who was really good at holding everything together on the outside while quietly falling apart on the inside.
Between teaching full-time, raising two sons, and trying to be present for everyone in my life, I hit a wall. I knew about self-care, I just couldn’t figure out how to actually make it work in the middle of real life. So I went looking for answers that were grounded in something more than good intentions and motivational quotes.
What I found changed everything for me. And it’s what I bring to every post, every resource, and every conversation here.
I hold a Master’s in Family and Developmental Studies. I am a college instructor and certified health and life coach. But honestly, what qualifies me most is that I’ve lived this. I know what it’s like to be the last one on your own list. And I know there’s a better way.
